Madison Lee White
Our proprietary white blend: Madison Lee White, is a balanced blend that is dictated by each distinct vintage…Our 2014 vintage is primarily Riesling and Chardonnay…with a synergistic dash of Sauvignon Blanc to lift and invigorate this crowd pleasing wine. Opening with tropical and lemony citrus notes (retained via cool fermentation) and enhanced by subtle summer flower aromas with balanced acidity and a pleasantly mellow finish. This wine is fresh, thirst quenching and a versatile, approachable, food-friendly white wine. Madison Lee White compliments most salads, seafood, light soft cheeses and poultry entrees or is perfect as a stand-alone, served slightly chilled on a spring or summer evening.
2015 Estate Chardonnay
The golden hued 2015 vintage has a bouquet of fresh pineapple and apricot, layered with hints of brown spice, lemon, vanilla and toasted marshmallow. A round creaminess on the palate offsets a mineral character and brightness from its citrus infused acidity. Our Estate Chardonnay, harvested from a single clone from Dijon, France, whole-cluster pressed. Two different yeast strains are introduced at fermentation, followed by three strains of ML (malo-lactic) inoculation and ‘sur lies’ aging for about 9 months in French, American and Hungarian oak barrels, that completes this classically styled Chardonnay.
Our Estate Chardonnay pairs well with a varity of dishes, from complex preparations of chicken and seafood to herb roasted pork dishes as well as sautéed veal medallions.
Madison Lee Red
Our latest release of Madison Lee Red takes a new direction with an intriguing blend of our best red vintage in years. This medium bodied red is anchored by firm, yet mature tannins that complement and enhance the dark and velvety red fruit and fresh, cinnamon aroma. Serve this accommodating red with Mexican chicken mole to please your next gathering of friends and family or sip on the back porch as the sun goes down.
A wonderful uncomplicated red wine with a sturdy backbone of tannin that is terrific with steaks, pizza, burgers, ribs, wings or BarBQ.
Our 2014 Yadkin Valley Merlot is cocoa dusted red cherry balanced with youthful tannins and bright acidity integrated thorough to its finish. Mild spice notes and medium body meld with nuanced oak and austere but ripe fruit for a true-to-type painting of Yadkin Valley Merlot. This well balanced red wine will awaken your palate with its lively character.
Enjoy this versatile red at slightly below room temperature with oven roasted chicken or grilled pork tenderloin.
2016 Yadkin Valley Riesling
Our 2016 semi-sweet, Yadkin Valley Riesling has aromas and flavors of green apple and pear with a hint of luscious guava and ripe pineapple. Balanced with crisp acidity throughout, and served slightly chilled, our Riesling will engage and delight the palate.
This surprisingly versatile wine pairs with shrimp, poultry, spicy dishes and Asian cuisine.
Salem Fork Blush
The 2016 Salem Fork Blush is 100% Merlot and fermented cool with just the right amount of structure and color extracted from the skins. Abundant grapefruit aroma surround the sweet strawberry and raspberry flavors… like a slightly tart, hard candy.
