Running the Vines 5k & 10K

Join us for an unforgettable experience at Running the Vines – the Yadkin Valley Wine Region’s premier 5K/10K event! Delight in live music, mouthwatering food, award-winning wine, and locally-crafted NC beer – all on our stunning grounds.

But that’s not all – participants in the 5K/10K event will receive a top-of-the-line race t-shirt, a custom finisher’s medal, a packet filled with sponsor goodies, and 2 free tickets to our unforgettable Sunset Concert. Starting and finishing at Shelton Vineyards, both the 5K and 10K races offer breathtaking views of the vineyard and neighboring farms. Ready to show off your competitive edge? Take part in the 5K Team Challenge and race to win the coveted trophy for your team.

For the little ones, we have the Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run sponsored by Chick-fil-A, where each little “vine-runner” will receive their own finisher’s medal.

Afternoon Cool Down – Post-Race Celebration:
Stay and unwind after the race with our exciting post-race celebration. Indulge in delectable food, refreshing craft beer, and wine, take tours and tastings, and experience hayrides through the vineyard while enjoying live music!

Blackwater Band Evening Concert:
Join us on race evening from 6:30 – 9:30 PM for the Shelton Vineyards Sunset Concert, featuring the Blackwater band. Registered race participants who are 21 and over will receive two complimentary tickets to the concert during packet pickup. You can purchase additional tickets for $20 in advance or for $25 on the day of the concert. Children 12 and under can attend for free. Please note that the concert will be held rain or shine.
