Vineyard Visits
Plan a visit to Shelton Vineyards located in the Yadkin Valley, an American Viticultural Area (AVA). Tour the winery and taste the award-winning wines. Browse the gift shop for wine and accessories. Be sure to save enough time to enjoy lunch or dinner at the Harvest Grill, a signature restaurant nestled in the beautiful vineyards.
Tours & Tastings
Tours and tastings are offered daily. The tours depart every half hour. The winery is open every day of the year except New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Retail hours for the winery are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday (daylight savings time); 10 a.m. to 5 p.m, and 1 p.m.. to 5 p.m (standard time)
The tour and tasting is $5 per person. This includes a guided tour of our 33,000 square-foot winery with an overview of our winemaking process, a tasting of five wines, and a souvenir wine glass. Wine club members will recieve free tours and tastings during their membership.
Reserve Tasting
Sample the Family Reserve wines along with other limited releases. Your tour will include highlights of the winemaking operation. The Reserve Tasting is offered on Friday at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., Saturday at 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., or by appointment. Cost is $20 per person ($15 per person for wine club members). A complimentary crystal wine glass is included.
Group Tours
If you are traveling with a large group (15 or more) and would like to make a reservation for the tour and tasting, a reservation for lunch or dinner at Harvest Grill or book your hotel stay. Please contact Amanda Gillespie to arrange all your details.
Harvest Grill
The Harvest Grill at Shelton Vineyards invites you to relax in the Yadkin Valley and entertain your palate with the wide array of food and wine. An assortment of Artisan styled cheese and culinary delights are guaranteed to enhance your dining experience. The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday 10am to 9pm, Friday and Saturday 10am to 10pm and on Sunday from 11am to 6pm, with lunch specials. Shelton Vineyards At Sunset Concert Series
The annual Shelton Vineyards at Sunset outdoor concert series is held monthly from May through September. The series features the best in beach, top 40 and swing music. Please make plans to spend a Saturday evening at the vineyard enjoying excellent wine, food, music and dancing.

Harvest Festival
The annual Harvest Festival is held in October. The festival for 2010 is scheduled for the weekend of October 9th & 10th. During this weekend, free tours and tastings are offered for every visitor. Walking Paths
While visiting the vineyard, be sure to check out the walking trails around the winery. The paths wind through our grounds, picnic areas, and around the beautiful lake.
Picnics
Several picnic tables are scattered throughout the vineyard. Bring your own picnic or pick up a picnic from the Harvest Grill. Harvest Grill offers the best in artisan styled cheeses and freshly baked bread to salads and entrees of your choice. No outside alcohol allowed. There is plenty of wine!
